  • LocationRemote, with occasional travel
  • StatusContingent upon contract award

Atlas Instinct competes for state Army National Guard recruiting and retention marketing contracts. We have live bids in progress right now and more coming. These requirements recompete annually in nearly every state.

We are strong on the things a marketing contract is scored on: campaign strategy, audience research, measurement, lead management, digital asset management, SEO, and web and platform delivery. Our principal software engineer has 29 years of production experience. What we do not have is someone who has lived the recruiting mission from the inside. That is the gap we are hiring to close.

What you would do

Serve as the named Program Manager or Account Manager on our proposals, and lead the work if we win. In practice that means:

  • Shaping our technical approach so it reflects how recruiting actually works at the RRB level, not how a marketing agency imagines it works
  • Being the voice our government client recognizes as one of their own
  • Advising on lead flow, recruiter enablement, and what actually moves contract mission
  • Reviewing campaign concepts before they go to the client
  • Running weekly client coordination once a contract is underway

Who we are looking for

  • Retired or former Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion marketing NCO or officer
  • Or two or more years running military recruitment marketing
  • State-level RRB experience is exactly right
  • Familiarity with lead management systems and recruiter support tools is a plus
  • Currently serving and planning your transition? Still talk to us.

How this works, plainly

You would be named on proposals now and engaged on award. Nothing is required from you before an award and nothing is implied by us. If we win one contract this is meaningful part-time work. If we win two or three, and that is the plan, it becomes a standing role and we would want to talk about that seriously.

We will tell you which specific bids your name would go on before it goes anywhere. No surprises.

Apply for this role

Compensation is discussed openly and depends on the contract. We do not ask people to work for exposure.
